The 2011 American Housing Survey (AHS) reveals that more than 70 percent of respondents ranked their overall level of satisfaction with their home at eight out of 10 or higher, and the statistic climbs to 84 percent for those living in newly constructed units. Additional AHS findings include that the average American home is 38 years old and that homes are getting larger. | Read More
