There are a handful of free real estate apps that make it easy for house hunters to search for properties from any location. Redfin’s app displays listings with complete details, full-screen photos, property history, and agent notes, while Zillow’s app provides access to local foreclosure listings, projected current market values, data on recent sales, and a mortgage calculator. Trulia’s app lets users search for homes for sale or rent, open houses, and recently sold homes; Realtor.com lets users view properties on a map centered to their location and receive alerts about price changes on saved listings; and Homesnap lets users take a photo of any home to find out its current worth, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and other such information. Buyers also can use Bankrate.com’s app to calculate estimated mortgage payments and obtain rate quotes from national and local lenders, while renters can use Lovely’s app to search for units based on location and whether pets are allowed, among other things. | Read More
