Though most homes sales typically take place in the spring and summer, fall and winter can also be good times to sell. Steve Gray, a broker with Royal LePage Kelowna, recommends the following tips for listing your home in the cooler months. Second, limit personalized holiday decorations and any other personal items and memorabilia. Third, use snow-free pictures in your listing, and if possible have your listing photos taken before the first snowfall. Fourth, keep your home warm during showings. Finally, shovel and salt your walkways and driveways, which not only makes your home more accessible, but increases curb appeal and shows potential buyers that the home is well-maintained and cared for. | Read More
