Builders, developers, and real estate agents are preparing for more Millennials to enter the housing market. With more than 90 million members, it is the biggest demographic wave to date. “This generation is coming at the right time,” says Fred Ehle, vice president for PulteGroup. “It’s the largest potential number of buyers coming in to the market.” The group, also known as Generation Y, has been held back by recession and high unemployment; but the oldest members are now in their early 30s and ready to purchase homes.
