A new HomeGain poll shows that about 75 percent of U.S. homeowners are satisfied with owning because of the traditional reasons — namely having control over one’s property and pride of ownership. The 28 percent who expressed unhappiness are mainly discontent with the direction of property prices. The survey also found that those who spent fewer than $75,000 on their home are most satisfied, while those who paid $800,000 or more were least satisfied.
