has rolled out a HyperSocial Connections tool, made possible by the 2011 acquisition of SocialBios by Move Inc., which operates With HyperSocial agent search, the shared interests of agents and consumers are identified through a search of Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google, and FourSquare. The tool aims to help agents beef up their networking capabilities. When consumers view a Realtor’s profile on, it allows them to log in with Facebook to see connections, hobbies, and interests they share with that Realtor. However, there are some downsides to the tool, particularly the lack of a “what is this?” button that would explain to consumers why they would want to access their Facebook rather than search for the Realtor on Facebook themselves.
