Robot Workshop, a real estate technology firm, has disclosed the community traits chosen most frequently by users of its Neighborhood Suggester search tool. There are 17 choices, ranging from “pet friendly” to “quality schools;” but the three most popular characteristics, respectively, are “fun for kids,” “fun and hip,” and “most people use public transportation.” Users are able to rate six of the 17 attributes for any given area. Scores are then provided for each community feature in each recommended neighborhood. Each search generates up to 10 ZIP codes or community names. Neighborhood Suggester, introduced in 2011, can be embedded on real estate agents’ websites and Facebook pages at a monthly rate of $19.95. | Read More
