A Trulia/Harris Interactive poll of 1,000 singles found that more than a third of women would prefer to date a homeowner than a renter, with just 2 percent claiming the opposite. Among the men surveyed, 18 percent said they would rather date a woman who owns and 3 percent said they preferred female renters over homeowners. Participants also were queried about what home features were the biggest turn-ons. Holding major appeal for both sexes — 75 percent of women and 64 percent men — are master bathrooms. Walk-in closets, gourmet kitchens, hardwood floors, outdoor decks, and home theaters all also are heavily favored.
