Top-selling Realtor Cristine Clark of Vista, Calif., states that part of one’s job as a listing agent is to recommend subtle changes that will “bring to life” a home’s interior. Clark boasts that she has sold more than 3,000 houses, or “one home every three days since 1997.” Among her suggestions for clients when getting ready to sell a house is to clear the entry way of any and all clutter. Another good rule of thumb is to purchase matching, new, hand towels for the guest bathroom and the kitchen. She adds, “a clean, festive, simple centerpiece on the dining room table is enough. The model homes for sale often have dinnerware, cloth napkins, and wine glasses on the tables.” Finally, she concludes that cleaning off the kitchen table, end tables, and coffee tables is an easy de-cluttering rule. | Read More
